Next Planting: November 7, 2026

Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 7, 2026 for our next volunteer planting! To volunteer, go to BuffaloGreenFund.org/volunteer Our FREE Tree Planting Workshop will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, 9am-12noon at  Arlene Mychajliw Community Center, 82 Harrison St, Buffalo, NY 14210 (716) 822-5094.   For any activities, please sign up at BuffaloGreenFund.org.

If you wish to plant trees along the streets of your neighborhood.  Please gather a group of three or more volunteers and solicit your neighbors on the street for their interest in getting trees planted in front of their properties on the plot between the sidewalk and the street.  Gather the addresses and any requested *species (final species selection is done by City of Buffalo approval) and submit to Paul D. Maurer at PaulDavidMaurer@gmail.com or call or text (716) 553-4061.  Total number of trees distributed will be based on number of volunteers you have and approved addresses.  NOTE that bare-root tree planting training is required for your group.  The deadline for the Fall, 2026 planting is past.  We will have the next sign-ups in February or March, 2026 for late April planting!

October 22, 2026 (Sat) – 9am-12noon – Free tree training workshop at   Arlene Mychajliw Community Center, 82 Harrison St, Buffalo, NY 14210 (716) 822-5094.   Please pre-register at www.BuffaloGreenFund.org

November 5, 2026 (Thurs) – 1pm-5pm – Tree distribution at 1120 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY, 14210 (near Babcock Street).  Way in the back yard of the building complex.
